Workout Routine – 6/5/2023

Happy Monday! My dad has little catch phrases he says to me during my work outs. I thought it’d be nice to share those:

  1. “Finish strong”
  2. “How did that feel”
  3. “Excellent”
  4. “Squeeze it”

Chest / Triceps (Push exercises)

  • Shoulder warm up
    • Green bar (12 lbs) front arm raises, both grips
    • Blue bar (15 lbs) shoulder presses behind back
  • Push ups on ground
    • 1 set 10 reps on knees (warm up)
    • 4 sets 8 reps no knees, 4 reps on knees
  • Tricep extensions with bar
    • Weight: 15 lbs
    • Reps: 10 reps 4 sets
  • Chest press machine
    • Weight: 25 lbs; 4 sets 10 reps
  • Cable machine (triceps)
    • Weight: 17.5 lbs; 2 set of 10 reps
    • Weight: 22.5 lbs; 2 sets 6 reps, drop to 15 lbs 6 reps
  • Chest press with bar
    • Weight: Black bar (30 lbs) 
    • 2 sets of 10 reps – wide grip
    • 2 sets of 10 reps – close grip (works triceps)
