Workout Routine – 7/29/2023

Today I decided to do a Pull workout routine. We haven’t done a Push / Pull schedule since mid-June. It felt good. I aimed for doing 3 exercises for each muscle. Definitely feeling tired and sore but I think I want to get back into a daily workout routine or switching between pull and push. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow when I do Push.

Biceps / Back (Pull exercises)

  • Quick shoulder warm up
    • Purple bar (5 lbs) front and side 2 sets
    • Blue bar (15 lbs) 1 set behind & in front of back
  • Bicep curl warm up (curls)
    • Blue bar (15 lbs) until warmed up
  • Bicep curls with weighted bars
    • Weight: red bar (25 lbs), big black bar (30 lbs)
    • 2 sets of 10 (red), big black bar 1 set of 10
  • Row machine
    • Weight: 55 lbs 4 sets of 7 reps
  • Cable machine bicep curl (kettlebell style)
    • Weight: 20 lbs
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10
  • Lat pulldown with cable machine
    • Weight: 20 lbs
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10
  • Bicep curls with dumbbells
    • Weight: 15 lbs
    • Reps: 1 set of 10 each arm; 2 sets arms together 10 reps
  • Dumbbell rows
    • Weight: 25 lbs
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10 reps
