Workout Routine – 7/1/2023

Another day of a chest / back / biceps / triceps workout. Although we’re doing more muscles in one routine, I do feel like it’s a better workout and overall recovery process. My chest is definitely feeling stronger. I did 10 normal ass pushups today which is insane given 3 months ago I could barely do 3. Triceps are eh. Back yes it’s feeling strong-ish. Biceps ehhh they could be stronger / Chelsea’s face could be more distorted, but we’re getting there. I did an extra bicep workout today instead of a 2nd chest and that felt good. Workout Rating: 9/10

AND THEN. IMMEDIATELY AFTER.

I played some tennis with my mom and dad. I talked mad shit to my mom (who plays tennis and pickleball literally 5 times a week) and she was RIPPING shots at me. Honestly, I was kind of holding my own for a few rallies. Had some good shots that she couldn’t get to because she’s not the best runner. I think if I play more often, she’s DONEZO.

And then my dad stepped in and was way more nice. He was actually feeding me shots that I could get to and return. Overall… I hate to say it… but I kinda like tennis?!

Chest & Biceps & Back & Triceps

  • Quick shoulder warm up
    • Purple bar (5 lbs) front and side 3 sets
    • Blue bar (15 lbs) 2 sets behind back, 2 sets in front
  • Bicep curl warm up (curls)
    • Blue bar (15 lbs) 1 set 10 reps
  • Bicep curls with weighted bars
    • Black bar (20 lbs) 1 set 10 reps
    • Red bar (25 lbs) 2 sets 10 reps
    • Big black bar (30 lbs) 1 set 7 reps
  • Push ups on ground
    • 4 sets 10 reps no knees
  • Cable machine with rope (triceps)
    • 17.5 lbs; 2 sets of 10 reps
    • 20 lbs; 1 set of 10 reps
  • Rows with dumbbells
    • 30 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
    • Bench flyers for the last set
  • Bicep curls with dumbbells
    • 15 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps each arm
