Workout Routine – 6/21/2023
No true push/pull workout routine today. It’s almost my ~time of month~ so we decided to take it easy today. A new nurse friend of mine told me that I’m in my “luteal” phase of my cycle meaning I shouldn’t be going for any PRs in the gym. And she was right. My body is WEAK. Thank you, luteal.
Mentally, it felt great to get a nice 30 min workout in and get the blood flowing in my body. Pun intended??
Chest & Biceps
- Quick shoulder warm up
- Purple bar (5 lbs) front and side 3 sets
- Yellow bar (10 lbs) 1 set behind back, 1 set in front
- Bicep curl warm up (curls)
- Blue bar (15 lbs) 1 set 10 reps
- Black bar (20 lbs) 1 set 10 reps
- Bicep curls with weighted bars
- Weight: black bar (20 lbs), red bar (25 lbs)
- 1 set 10 reps, 1 set 10 reps
- Chest press machine
- Weight: 25 lbs
- 4 sets 10 reps
- Bicep curls with dumbbells
- Weight: 10 lbs
- Reps: 4 sets of 10 each arm
- Push ups on ground
- 2 sets 8 reps no knees, 1 set 9 reps no knees
