Workout Routine – 6/4/2023

Today we did what my dad calls a “maintenance” routine. I’m feeling a little sore from our workout yesterday, but still felt up for getting a workout in today. We did a Pull routine but scaled it back a little so it wouldn’t overwork my muscles.

We also introduced some forearm workouts!

Biceps / Back (& forearms) (Pull exercises)

  • Bicep curl warm up
    • Green bar (12 lbs), Blue bar (15 lbs)
  • Bicep curls with weighted bars
    • Weight: red bar (25 lbs), big black bar (30 lbs)
    • 1 set of 12 (red), big black bar 2 sets of 8 dropset to blue bar
  • Row machine
    • Weight: 40 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
  • Bicep curls with dumbbells
    • Weight: 15 lbs
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10 each arm
  • Lat pulldown with cable machine
    • Weight: 20 lbs
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10
  • Reverse grip bicep curls (forearms & biceps)
    • 10 lbs 12 reps (easy)
    • 12 lbs 12 reps (still a little easy)
    • 15 lbs 10 reps (good weight)
  • Deadlifts
    • Weight: 30 lbs 
    • Reps: 3 sets of 10 reps
