Workout Routine – 6/4/2023
Today we did what my dad calls a “maintenance” routine. I’m feeling a little sore from our workout yesterday, but still felt up for getting a workout in today. We did a Pull routine but scaled it back a little so it wouldn’t overwork my muscles.
We also introduced some forearm workouts!
Biceps / Back (& forearms) (Pull exercises)
- Bicep curl warm up
- Green bar (12 lbs), Blue bar (15 lbs)
- Bicep curls with weighted bars
- Weight: red bar (25 lbs), big black bar (30 lbs)
- 1 set of 12 (red), big black bar 2 sets of 8 dropset to blue bar
- Row machine
- Weight: 40 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
- Bicep curls with dumbbells
- Weight: 15 lbs
- Reps: 3 sets of 10 each arm
- Lat pulldown with cable machine
- Weight: 20 lbs
- Reps: 3 sets of 10
- Reverse grip bicep curls (forearms & biceps)
- 10 lbs 12 reps (easy)
- 12 lbs 12 reps (still a little easy)
- 15 lbs 10 reps (good weight)
- Deadlifts
- Weight: 30 lbs
- Reps: 3 sets of 10 reps
