Strength Training Progress – April 29 2023

Weight – 4/29/2023

91 lbs – We’re slowly getting some lbs! Not sure if this is the muscle building or if I just have a lot of sh*t built up in me. But I’ll take it!

As a reminder – our goal is 115 lbs! LFG.

I will say that the other day I had pizza and it kinda made me feel like gross and shitty. Like my energy wasn’t good. Which TOTALLY makes sense but damn, I love pizza…

Workout Routine – 4/29/2023

Today was the first ‘push‘ day. Maybe it wasn’t smart to do the pull exercises yesterday at 8pm and then the push exercises today at 10am. I felt really tired and sore. My arms were noodles. But we got some pushing done and I’m feeling okay right now. Tomorrow will be an “off” day and we’ll do some legs / abs.

I will say that my left shoulder was low key on FIRE. My dad says I just need to keep building up that muscle, but shit man, it felt like I needed to pop it back into its socket or something. We’ll see how it feels on Monday.

Chest / Triceps (Push exercises)

  • Shoulder warm up
    • Orange bar 2 reps of 10
    • Yellow bar behind head, shoulder press
  • Chest press with bar
    • 2 sets 10 reps with red bar (25 lbs)
    • Black bar (30 lbs) 3 sets of 10 reps
  • Cable machine (biceps) – pull with the rope
    • Weight: 15 3 sets
  • Push ups on the bench
    • Bodyweight 3 sets of 10
  • Cable machine tricep over the head things
    • 12.5 lbs 3 sets of 12
  • Push ups on ground (on knees)
    • 3 sets of 10 reps
